Say you're playing France, and Austria gets the Burgundian Inheritance. You would have to take 90+ AE to take it, presuming Burgundy hasn't lost any land. This does make sense ofcourse as you're getting the Lowlands as well, which is a very developed region in the HRE. 90+ AE is fair imo. I am not suggesting AE changes.

Using that CB, you can get the PU. The inheritance can't happen if they're a minor partner in a PU, so there's no chance of it occurring after the war. To clarify that slightly - the inheritance can fire while burgundy is at war with anyone, including the emperor. The emperor can't be at war with France though. The king always leads an army, and the criteria (IIRC) is that the king has to die during a war. So my strategy has been to fight Burgundy, and keep hammering the army that their king leads. Not sure if it's the most effective thing, but it makes sense in my head. The Burgundian Inheritance happened and so did the Great Peasants War, but neither appeared in the Empire screen under current or past Imperial Incidents. Shouldn't they have? Is it a bug or what am I missing? The year is ~1530 and the only past incident is the Shadow Kingdom.

In 1530, I got the event "The Duchess of Burgundy Dies", and inherited all of Burgundy. Due to a bug, I had to make a hard restart, however the restart went back 1 month before the inheritance event.
